Public Board Meeting Highlights - January 21, 2025

Chair of the Board Chris Sigurdson called the meeting to order at 6:34 p.m.  

Secretary-Treasurer Rudnicki shared an update regarding the Board's ThoughtExchange: until Feb. 7.  

Superintendent Michalik shared highlights from the Jan. 16, 2025, Leadership Team meeting.  

Clarke Hagan, Director of Information Technology Systems, and Marnie Wilson, Divisional Vice-Principal of Data Literacy, provided an update regarding the Daily Attendance Tracker and Student Absence Dashboard.  

Superintendent Michalik and Assistant Superintendent Cormack shared that the Board and SLT have reviewed a comprehensive consultant proposal to review our Industrial Arts, Human Ecology, and Louis Riel Arts & Technology Centre (LRATC) programming.  

Assistant Superintendent Cormack provided an update regarding the division's Accessibility Plan.  

Superintendent Michalik provided an update regarding the transition from X to Bluesky Social including current analytics.  

The Chair adjourned the meeting at 7:25 p.m.  

Official minutes will be posted once approved by the Board.
