91̽»¨app's Elena Stangherlin has been recognized as the 2025 Distinguished Service Award Winner by the Manitoba School Library Association (MSLA). This annual provincial award rec­og­nizes the efforts of indi­vid­u­als who have made out­stand­ing con­tri­bu­tions in sup­port of effec­tive school libraries in Manitoba. Elena is being honoured this year for her ongoing service, creativity, and commitment to supporting school library programs in 91̽»¨app as teacher-librarian at Windsor Park Collegiate (9-12), Frontenac School (K-8), Lavallee School (K-8) and Niakwa Place School (K-8). The award will be formally presented to Elena on May 15, 2025, at the Manitoba School Library Association AGM.
