Public Board Meeting Highlights - September 3, 2024
The meeting was called to order at 6:31 p.m.
Superintendent Michalik unveiled the Multi-Year Strategic Plan (MYSP) posters distributed to all schools and walked the Board through the MYSP booklet.
The Board reviewed the 5-year capital plan submitted to the education Funding Branch for 2025-2026 to 2029-2030. Secretary-Treasurer Rudnicki provided a report regarding capital improvements supported by the division for the 2024-2025 school year.
Assistant Superintendent Jean-Paul provided staffing updates.
Trustees Gerrior, Nemeth, Palmquist, and Simunyola shared about professional learning opportunities that took place over the summer.
The Senior Leadership Team brought information on capital updates for July and August, the student accident report for Jan 1- Aug 3, 2024, and the Environmental Liability Report for 2023-2024.

By-laws adopted:
THAT Bylaw 20242025-001 being a bylaw to authorize the instruction of religion at École Van Belleghem during the 2024-2025 school year receive first reading, and brought back for second and third reading at a future date.
